Eid Brotherhood Event 2024
Eid al-Fitr marks a time of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. This year, the PRG UAE, an esteemed riding group in the UAE, had the honor of participating in the grand Eid Brotherhood Ride 2024. This event, which brought together over 300 bikers from across 15+ motorcycle clubs, was not just a ride but a celebration of unity, brotherhood, and charitable giving.
The Journey Begins
At the break of dawn, the PRG UAE crew gathered at the ADNOC Service Station in Dubai Studio City, along with other riders. The excitement was palpable as our group, decked out in our signature gear, prepared for the day ahead. The event kicked off with a brief meetup and safety briefing, emphasizing the importance of riding safely in staggered formation—a task we are well-versed in.
On the Road
As we set off at 6:30 AM, the sound of roaring engines filled the air, a powerful reminder of the strength and unity within our community. The route, spanning approximately 153 kilometers, took us through some of the most scenic back roads in the UAE. The journey was split into two legs, with a well-deserved stop at ADNOC Tayba for smaller bikes to refuel, while our group continued the ride towards Fujairah.
A Breakfast to Remember
The ride concluded at the Fujairah International Marine Club, where all participants were treated to a hearty breakfast. Here, riders from different clubs mingled, shared stories, and celebrated the spirit of Eid. For PRG UAE, it was a moment to reflect on the road traveled and the bonds strengthened.
A Ride for a Cause
But this ride was more than just about enjoying the open road; it was also a charitable endeavor. Funds were raised to install water coolers at worker accommodations in Dubai, a gesture that truly embodies the spirit of Eid—compassion, and generosity.
