Gathering at Al Qala Petrol Station
On the 21st of September 2024, the PRG UAE riders assembled at Al Qala Petrol Station in the evening to kickstart our much-anticipated weekend ride. Excitement was in the air as the group prepared for a journey through scenic routes and thrilling tunnels on the way to Friday Market, Khorfakkan.
Rest Stop at Shees Park
Our first stop was at Shees Park Rest Area, where we took some time to relax and soak in the stunning landscapes. The park provided a refreshing break and a great opportunity for some group photos before we continued our ride.
Fish Feast in Khor Fakkan
After enjoying the ride, we made our way to Khor Fakkan for a delicious fish feast at Al Al sayadeen fish Resturant. Special thanks to Nasir Bhai and Ahmad Bhai, who generously treated the entire group to this memorable meal. Their kindness and hospitality truly made the day extra special for all of us.
Tunnels and the Weather
One of the best experiences of the ride was crossing through the tunnels, a thrilling part of the journey. Although the weather wasn’t ideal at the start, it improved on our return, becoming pleasantly cool and perfect for riding.
Heading Back Home
We wrapped up the ride after our meal and headed back home, arriving safely by 2 AM. It was a great day filled with adventure, good company, and unforgettable memories.
